Aim and concept of the contest
The contemporary welding technologies have become highly advanced in recent years. The processes of fusion and non-fusion welding, pad welding, cutting and thermal processing now guarantee incredible precision, are effective and safer and exert a weaker environmental impact. They increasingly often become part of production automation and robotisation.
Modern welding and associated processes are indispensable in many branches of contemporary industry. They often determine the quality and competitiveness of the final product used in metallurgy, mining, ship building, construction and the railway, power, automotive and food industries.
Knowledge of new technologies, innovative materials and technical solutions is key not only for welding, but also for representatives of the abovementioned industries.
The Best of Welding is a new project of WNP.PL and PTWP Group — organiser of the 8th edition of the ExpoWELDING International Welding Fair (Katowice, October 18–20, 2022).
The contest will award the most interesting innovative and effective technical solutions, devices, accessories, materials, software and auxiliary equipment available on the market. The jury will evaluate both comprehensive solutions (robots, automatic machines, devices) and their components (accessories, materials, applications, safety measures etc.).
The contenders must be manufacturers and distributors of those products operating on the Polish market.
The honourable mentions in The Best of Welding will be presented during the gala event accompanying the ExpoWELDING International Welding Fair, held in the International Congress Centre (MCK) in Katowice on October 19, 2022.
